‘Good Old Downloads’ shuts down, publishes supply on GitHub
Good Old Downloads (GOD), a pirate website devoted to gaming titles, introduced on its web site that it’s shutting down with fast impact, reports TorrentFreak.
For these unaware, GOD began as an alternative choice to GOG.com (previously Good Old Games), that provided downloads of DRM-free video games from GOG.com for individuals to pirate without spending a dime.
With greater than million guests visiting each month, the web site began rising in recognition, which was ad-free and funded solely by way of donations.
According to a message posted on the positioning, the positioning’s operators say that they’re shutting down because of assaults on the platform from rival websites and the concern of being focused with authorized motion.
The farewell message on the web site reads:
